Colonelle Films is a young production company that stemmed from the hearts of three relentless women. The trio is cemented by their complementary strengths: Geneviève helps with project development, Fanny takes care of administration, in addition to helping Sarah with production. New allies joined the team in the last years: Andrée-Anne oversees post-production, Léonie takes charge of ushering in new talents and Kalthoum coordinates various operations.

THE
COLONELLES
Trained at HEC and coming from an entrepreneurial background, Fanny’s attraction to the silver screen finally got the best of her and she chose a career in cinema. She embarked on the Colonelle Films adventure by tending to the company's well-being: she established its structure, took care of its allies, and calculated the risks. When faced with the challenges that come with every production, Fanny keeps both feet firmly on the ground and makes sure that her ship makes it to port, without veering too much from its course.
Sarah studied film writing and directing as part of her Bachelor's degree at UQAM's École des médias. Surrounded by creative minds and driven by a DIY spirit, she then learned the nuts and bolts of production and started her own company with her two good friends Fanny and Geneviève. Instinctive and dedicated, Sarah tackles every Colonelle production as if her life depended on it.
After pursuing extensive studies in film and photography, Geneviève wrote and directed various film projects (fiction, documentary, feature and short films). Her experience has earned her the acumen to supervise the development of Colonelle projects. Geneviève is the necessary evil in the writing process, pelting filmmakers with big existential questions such as "Why?"
With a Bachelor's degree in production strategies at UQAM, Léonie joined the company as coordinator. Her undeniable intuition and boundless energy quickly got noticed and earned her the helm of the company’s Emerging Talents division.
Andrée-Anne's heart is ever divided between the worlds of media arts and cinema. An invaluable ally for the Colonelles, she joined the team as a director of post-production and extraordinary human being.
Kalthoum studied communications and cultural research at UQAM, leading her to work as an artistic events programmer. Guided by a deep desire to make a distinctive contribution to Quebec's cultural landscape, she embraced the medium of cinema and eventually joined the ranks of Colonelle. She is currently working within the company, while simultaneously writing on projects that are close to her heart.
Born and raised in Vallée-Jonction, Beauce, Olivier Bill Bilodeau holds degrees in film studies and political science from Université de Montréal, and in business administration from Université de Sherbrooke. He first worked at RIDM, before cofounding the FCVQ, where he worked as its Director of Programming and Administration. He also worked on programming editions of Les Percéides festival and Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma. His interests in cinema span from Jacques Tati to Godzilla and everything in between.
Accountant for over 20 years, Moussou started out in an accounting firm in Paris, then moved on to banking and working with SMEs. Prior to her arrival in Montreal, she had already started out working in the cultural industry, and upon her arrival plunged right back into it, working as an accountant for a music label. For the past 5 years, she has specialized in the audiovisual field.
Hippolyte graduated from INA (Paris) with a master's degree in audiovisual production. Enriched by experiences in France and Quebec, he navigated between distribution and production before joining Colonelle films in 2024, where he has since contributed his versatile expertise. Meanwhile, he is developing projects with a strong commitment to storytelling that resonates with his values and identity.
